Job Summary
The Process Technician is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the Production Operation and Process Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes, designs, and optimizes production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develops and implements process improvements aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC).
- Troubleshoots process issues and provides technical support to production teams.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams (quality, design, operations) to ensure manufacturability.
- Documents workflows, procedures, and technical standards for shop-floor adoption.
- Monitors process performance using data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Supports new product introduction (NPI) by validating processes and equipment.
Must Have
- Completed Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering, or related field
- Knowledgeable in a PCBA manufacturing environment and equipment, machine repair and maintenance
